United Performance Metals enjoyed participating in a recent golf tournament at The Quarry Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas. UPM was honored to be a platinum sponsor for this charity event that was hosted by Senior Flexonics Pathway. Donations of more than $125,000 were collected to support several charitable organizations including the Comal County Habitat for Humanity, a non-profit housing organization which provides decent and affordable homes for individuals and families in need, Bras for a Cause which provides educational resources, mammograms and cervical screenings to low income or underinsured participants, the Children’s Advocacy Center of Comal County, Inc. which supports the prevention, detection, investigation and treatment of child abuse, and the Alamo College Central Texas Technology Center scholarship fund for students pursuing a career in welding.
