Michael Binegar, Senior Account Manager at United Performance Metals doesn’t like to boast, but he has so many reasons to be proud of his son, Jake that it’s hard to hold him back. A senior at Hamilton High School, Jake is a member of the National Honor Society and the Hamilton Quiz Team, president of the Senior Senate, a member of the yearbook staff, and he actually loves math class! In fact, Jake received the prestigious Honda-OSU Math Medal award as his school’s top math student in 2011. He is impressively ranked 13th out of 680 in his class. Believe it or not, Jake isn’t all about academics. He holds the position of pitcher for the Hamilton Big Blue varsity baseball team. Jake is also the goalie for Big Blue varsity soccer.
With graduation just around the corner, Jake is looking forward to a relaxing summer trip to Florida with 14 of his buddies. He’ll need to squeeze in the fun while he can because the fall will beckon him to Ohio State University where Jake has been accepted into the Honors Engineering Program. He plans to major in Industrial and Systems Engineering. If you’re looking for a senior who’s the complete package, look no further. You’ve found it in Jake Bineger.
