It’s time to celebrate the success of another graduate! This time, we’re taking our hat’s off for Ashley Baker, as she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY. Ashley is the daughter of Shannon Grathwohl, Account Manager for United Performance Metals.
Ashley has a passion for learning and a commitment to helping others. She received her NCLEX state board RN certification just last week! Ashley is employed as an RN at the University of Louisville Hospital, in the Neuro-Trauma unit. She is dedicated to serving others and plans to continue her education and one day become a Nurse Practioner.
Ashley currently lives in Louisville and enjoys traveling (she spent two years in Hawaii from 2010 – 2012) and adores spending time with her best friend, her beloved Airedale Terrier, Winston.
Winston recently suffered a health crisis that was truly life-threatening. It was during Winston’s care and recovery that Ashley gained a deeper interest in health care. It’s always a surprise when a personal experience shapes your future. In this case, it was Winston that led Ashley to become a nurse!
