United Performance Metals recently awarded Natalia Carvalho and Megan Freeman with the annual UPM Scholarship. United Performance Metals awards two recipients with the scholarship each year as part of its commitment to continued education and higher learning. The scholarships are based on academic achievement and applicant's responses to a written essay.
Natalia Carvalho, daughter of Pumma Carvalho, Assistant Controller, is entering her sophomore year at Duke University. She is majoring in Electrical Computer Engineering. Megan Freeman, stepdaughter of Jeff Allen, Account Manager, will be a freshman at the University of Kentucky, majoring in Biology. Congratulations to both recipients!
