The UPM Pinnacle Award is considered the highest form of employee recognition in the company. In January 2020, six Pinnacle Awards were granted to team members with performance that exceeded all expectations. Award consideration was given only after a nominee had received initial peer recognition through the receipt of High 5 or Extra Mile Award, senior management approval, and evidentiary data based on departmental performance metrics.
