United Performance Metals has invited interns back for the summer of 2024! These dedicated students will experience working at a leading specialty metals solutions center, providing additional support to our teams, and offering fresh insights across our departments. Their contributions will help UPM complete crucial projects and facilitate mentoring opportunities for our employees across different teams. Meet our exceptional interns currently based at our headquarters in Hamilton, Ohio!
Peyton Hoog is an incoming junior at Indiana University. He is currently majoring in professional sales and interning with our Emerging Markets department. His goal this summer is to build strong connections and gain real-life sales experience. In his free time, Peyton enjoys golfing and hitting the gym!
Arpitha Guruprasad is a graduate student at the University of Dayton. She is currently focused on receiving her master’s in engineering management. Arpitha is interning with our Quality department in hopes of gaining valuable experience before graduating. In her spare time, Arpitha enjoys reading, sketching, and singing classical music!
Jonathan Bowden is an incoming sophomore at Cedarville University. He is currently studying mechanical engineering and is an intern with our Quality department. He feels this opportunity will help him gain experience in the field as well as expose him to many processes that align with his major. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys rock climbing, playing the piano, and partaking in astrophotography!
Daniel Schwartz is an incoming junior at the University of Cincinnati. He is majoring in information systems and interning with our Supply Chain Department. He feels confident this opportunity will allow him to gain experience, learn from others, and contribute to the company’s goals. During his spare time, Daniel loves watching sports and spending time with friends!
Kiley Eckert is an incoming sophomore at St. Louis University. She is currently studying business and interning with our Supply Chain department. Kiley is hopeful this internship will help her narrow down which field of business she would like to pursue. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with friends!
Jacob Goldberg is an incoming sophomore at Purdue University. He is currently studying mechanical engineering and interning with our UPM Additive team. Jacob is excited to gain experience early on and to start saving up for his future. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, watching sports, and partaking in woodworking projects!
Nikita Prasad is an incoming sophomore at the University of Dayton. She’s currently majoring in computer science and is interning with our IT department. Nikita hopes to gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience to deepen her understanding in the field. She is also striving to establish valuable connections with industry professionals. In her free time, Nikita enjoys cooking and traveling!
Sanders Oliver is an incoming senior at Miami University. She is majoring in strategic communications and interning with our Marketing department. She’s confident this internship will allow her to build strong connections, expand on company knowledge, and increase professional experience. Sanders’ goal is to utilize all resources available to her and become an asset for the company. In her spare time, Sanders enjoys snowboarding, traveling, and cooking for friends and family!
