West Coast Staff Member Grows Into Management

We are pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Weber to the position of Western Regional Branch Manager.  Chris Weber has been a part of United Performance Metals for nearly two years, and working hard to promote our company's growth on the west coast.

Chris has spent 25 years in the metals industry in the positions of Regional Product Manager, Western Region Distribution Manager, and Inside Sales Manager. As Western Regional Branch Manager, his responsibilities will include managing the sales and warehouse staff of UPM’s La Mirada, CA branch office, managing inventory and equipment within the plant, and developing new customers while maintaining and growing current customers in the region.

Chris looks forward to the opportunity before him. “I’m very excited to be part of the UPM management team and look forward to guiding our continued growth on the West Coast. I appreciate the tremendous support involved to make this growth possible."Chris has been married for 33 years and has 3 children. He spends his free time boating, fishing, water skiing, and snow skiing. A Boston, Massachusetts native, Chris has spent most of his life on the west coast and the last 26 years in Southern California. Congratulations Chris!
