The West Coast branch of United Performance Metals will celebrate six years without a lost time injury on July 18, 2014. It’s a safety milestone which demonstrates the quality of service maintained in every aspect of the organization.
“Safety is never compromised,” remarked Fernando Gonzalez, Plant Foreman for United Performance Metals La Mirada, California branch. “We look after one another, and we take pride in the products we distribute every day.”
United Performance Metals is headquartered in Hamilton, Ohio. The west coast branch was first established in 2008 with a facility in Santa Fe Springs. In 2011, the branch grew into a 52,000 square foot facility in La Mirada housing both sales and processing.
UPM’s west coast service center has a strong inventory of specialty stainless and high temperature alloy sheet and coil on the floor that can be further processed to a customer’s specific requirements.
