United Performance Metals Utilizes Webcast as Customer Education Tool

Hamilton, Ohio - May 16th, 2008-- United Performance Metals recently launched a series of short webcasts that will be utilized as a customer education tool for the company and its line of flat-rolled products. Hosted on the company's website (www.upmet.com) under the webcasts link, the 5-8 minute videos highlight employees, products and services offered by United Performance Metals.

United's Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Scott Fasse, explained, "We have a customer base that is spread throughout the world. Connecting with our customers and creating an awareness of all the products and services that we offer is a constant challenge. Several industries have already proven online video as an effective and economical marketing tool. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video has to be worth exponentially more. Through our webcasts we give customers the chance to walk through parts of our shop or to listen as our experienced machine operators talk about processing their metal.
